Alan Williams is an award-winning Hollywood film composer, author and compelling global speaker.  He is the President and CEO of Silverscreen Music Inc, owner of Quinate Publishing music publishing company, and principal at Silverscreen Consulting.  

Alan has created the workshops Innovate Success and Creative-Change as multi-media interactive experiences that enable leaders to learn and apply creativity and innovation to successfully unleash their creative potential.  Alan has developed a number of tools to assist leaders including the 5-Step Innovation Process, Ignite Imagination:  Sparking Your Creativity - book and audio CD, 21 Brainstorming Techniques That Work and Creative Strategies: Thought and Action Tactics.  Alan's book, Directing Creativity: The Art of Innovation will be released summer of 2017.

As a speaker, Alan has traveled the world teaching the innovation process before world leaders and business titans in more than 30 countries.  He continues reaching audiences from around the globe with his TEDx talk "Creativity:  The Power to Trend."  The innovation process is cross-cultural and bridges socio-economic groups and applies to executives, team members, support staff and students.

With more than 100 motion picture and television credits, Alan’s scores include the Academy Award nominated IMAX film, Amazon, Sony Pictures Classics’ Mark Twain’s America in 3D and some of the highest rated movies made for television. Alan composed the award-winning score to the animated film, “The Princess and the Pea” and also co-wrote the original songs with award winning Lyricist David Pomeranz as well as the Student Academy Award winning short “Pajama Gladiator”. His score to "Estefan" received an Annie nomination for best original score. He has been awarded the Insight Award for Excellence for his score to “Kilimanjaro: To the Roof of Africa”, 14 Accolade Awards for Best Original Score, 10 Park City Film Music Festival Gold Medal for Excellence awards as well as his score to “Crab Orchard” being named as one of the Top 20 Film Scores of 2005. Alan has received eight Global Music Awards for his albums "Moving Art: Underwater", “The Cinema Collection”, “The Documentary Collection”, "Patriots of Freedom", "Cinema Voce", "The Princess and the Pea", "Television Suites" and "The Christmas Carol Collection" and a Prestige Film Gold Award for his score to “Cowgirls n’ Angels.” Alan has received three Hollywood Music in Media Award nominations and was awarded the Global Music Odyssey Lifetime Achievement award for music.
